Zackery Norris is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering.

 While attending school, Mr. Norris was an active member of the steel bridge team where they went to nationals two years in a row. He also was involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers local student chapter.

He worked at Stantec as a Water Resources Engineering Intern where his responsibilities included the design of water and wastewater systems. He was involved in the design of a new water main through South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC. He also worked at Bennett & Pless as a Structural Engineering Intern where his responsibilities included the analysis and design of industrial structures utilizing concrete, steel and timber.  He was involved in the design of a large Hindu temple in Matthews, NC.

Mr. Norris joined Andrew Consulting Engineers as a Structural Engineer in 2021. He passed his professional engineering exam in February 2021 and received his Professional Engineering license in 2024. His responsibilities include the analysis and design of low to midrise buildings, marine structures, and existing structures.

He was born and raised in Wilmington, NC where he grew up in the construction industry working for Norris Construction. He was involved in the site development of Penderlea School and the latest additions to Castle Hayne Park. In his free time, he enjoys drag racing and watching pro football.
